Audi Q3 Revealed Ahead Of Shanghai Debut

Audi Q3Audi’s answer to BMW X1 and the not so well selling Mercedes-Benz GLK has arrived. The Q3 will make its world debut next week at the Shanghai Motor Show, with UK sales expected to start in November.

The Audi Q3 weighs less than 1,500 kilograms, with many of the parts made of aluminium, like the bonnet and wraparound tailgate. The luggage compartment offers up to 1,365 liters of capacity with the rear seats down.

Three four-cylinder units will be offered at first: two TFSI units with power ranging from 140bhp to 211bhp, and a 2.0 TDI unit with 140bhp and front-wheel drive.

UK prices will start from around £25,000 for the base 2.0 TFSI front-wheel-drive model.
