Audi has unveiled a limited-edition A8 Edition 21 model in UK to celebrate 21 years since the big luxury saloon was first launched.
The first-generation A8 was launched in 1994 and to celebrate the odd number of 21, Audi is offering a special edition model called Edition 21 in both standard and long wheelbase versions packing all the luxury and safety goodies.
The A8 Edition is based on the SE Executive trim and introduces a cabin pampered by Audi Exclusive with two colour combinations available: cognac brown with black stitching or black leather with red stitching.

The luxury features include comfort front sports seats with 22-way adjustability, memory function, built-in pneumatic lumbar and side bolster support.
Other interior highlights include a black cloth headlining, a three-spoke steering wheel and illuminated door sill plates with the “Edition 21” logo.
There is also a HDD-based sat-nav, a BOSE surround sound system, a reversing camera and the electrically operated trunk lid.
Exterior boasts a Sport Styling package, featuring sportier front and rear bumpers and prominent side sills. Privacy glass is also standard along with matrix LED headlights.
All this rides on 20-inch double-spoke alloys with a titanium look.
The engine choice is limited to a 262bhp 3.0-litre TDI V6 with 428 lb-ft of torque linked to a quattro AWD system through an 8-speed tiptronic gearbox, taking the luxury saloon from 0-62mph in 5.9 seconds (+0.2s for LWB model). Top speed is electronically limited to 155mph.
The standard short-wheelbase model is priced from £72,525 whereas the LWB model costs £76,490 with first deliveries scheduled for November.
