Astons Dominate Britcar 1000km Early

A Mosler and Ginetta may have taken the front row of the grid at this year’s Britcar Silverstone extravaganza but it was the Aston Martin Vantages of Barwell Motorsport and Horsepower Racing who quickly dominated the top three spots with the Pete Storey Wolf GB08 in second.

Britcar switched their famous late-summer endurance race from the 24-hour format for 2013, expecting lower grids in the current economic enviroment, but nonetheless 32 cars completed qualifying on Saturday. The weather looks set to remain dry for the approx 6 hour race on the Northamptonshire GP circuit.
