Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster – First Details & Photos
Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster will be limited to just 101 units, with the production scheduled to start end of 2012. This new open-top Aston Martin is rumored to cost around £150,000.
Because of the folding soft top, the V12 Vantage Roadster features modified front and rear suspensions as well as a revised luggage lid and rear spoiler. Other updates include carbon side strakes, carbon mirror caps, black exhaust pipes, black finish grille, carbon rear lamp infills, black border around rear lamps, new forged alloy wheels and Aston Martin logos with a black background.
For the interior the black plastic is replaced with glass switches in the lower part of the centre stack and there is an optional Carbon Interior Pack that features carbon fibre center console fascia and carbon fiber gearshift surround.
The V12 Vantage Roadster has the same 510bhp 6.0-litre V12 engine and 6-speed manual gearbox as the coupe version.
