Aston Martin Rapide S Spied At The Nürburgring
Aston Martin Rapide S – a new hot version of the 4-door Rapide that should be more competitive with Porsche Panamera Turbo and Mercedes CLS63 AMG is currently testing at the extreme Nürburgring.
Current Aston Martin Rapide is powered by a 470bhp 6.0-litre V12, enabling it to reach 60mph in 5.1sec. Not fast enough if you want to compare it to Panamera Turbo. The Rapide S is rumoured to get a 6.0-litre V12 straight from the DBS with at least 510bhp.
Other expected updates include revised bumpers, new bonnet, S lettering, firmer suspension settings, carbon-ceramic brake discs as standard and firmer suspension settings.
While nothing is official, this also could be just a facelift for the current Rapide with some visual changes and added horsepower. We’ll see soon.
