Ariel Atom Gets New Race Series In UK Called Atom Cup

Ariel Atom with its minimal bodywork and amazing power-to-weight ratio is one of the purest street-legal sports cars you can buy today. They are also perfect for track use and from next year a new single make UK Race Series called Atom Cup will be started with races held at circuits such as Brands Hatch and Silverstone. The Atom Cup will feature matched Atom Ariel’s in full race specification.

All cars will be specifically designed for the Series with a modified chassis, full roll over protection, race instrumentation, Ohlions suspension, Yokohama slicks and six-point harness.

Just like the standard Atom, the race spec version will feature Honda’s 245bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder with minor updates.
