Ariel Atom 700 By DDMWorks Packs 700bhp

The Ariel Atom 3 is considered one of the purest sports cars on the market. It lacks a roof, windows and other features normally found on road cars.

With the 2.4 litre Honda l4 engine it reaches 60mph in just 2.8sec and has a top speed of 155mph. Impressive numbers. Of course there is always room for more power and speed. Ariel Atom 700 is the answer. Created by American tuner DDMWorks, the Atom 700 gets its power from a 2.0 litre Ecotec l4 engine that produces up to 700bhp. If that sounds too extreme, then you can also choose from two lower power levels: 450bhp or 575bhp.

Such power from a small engine is possible thanks to a turbocharger and a supercharger. The Atom 700 weighs just 657kg and features also a new exhaust system.

DDMWorks does not mention how fast the Atom 700 is, though they highly suggests customers take a specialized driving course for their safety, like the Ariel Atom experience offered at Virginia International Raceway by TMI.
