AMG Teases 8 New Models – Even More Future Models With All-Wheel Drive
AMG is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year and looking into the future they have released first details about the future strategy entitled “AMG Performance 50″, leading up to the 50th anniversary of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.
Under the “AMG Performance 50″ strategy, the brand will roll out at least 8 new models, including the compact A 45 AMG.The All-wheel drive is set to play a bigger role at Mercedes-AMG in the future – it will be offered not just for SUVs but also other models including the upcoming A 45 AMG. Currently AMG has four all-wheel-drive models: ML 63 AMG, G 63 AMG. G 65 AMG. GL 63 AMG.
Details are limited, but there will be also new variants based on the next-generation S-Class. Also AMG will develop and build the next-generation Mercedes V12.
Mercedes also plans to have around 350 AMG Performance Centers around the world by the 50th anniversary of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.
