All-new Volvo XC90 digitally imagined as a pickup truck

The all-new Volvo XC90 has been out officially for about a week now and we are confident it will become quite popular, just as its predecessor.

It looks good inside-out, comes with fuel efficient yet powerful engines and introduces some new safety features like a run-off road protection package and auto brake at intersection capability.

Shortly after the first official pictures were out, X-Tomi imagined a possible look for the Polestar version, which has not been confirmed yet, but knowing how much Volvo has on the new XC90 we are sure they are soon launching the Polestar version as well.

X-Tomi Design is now back with another rendering showing the all-new XC90 as a pickup truck. We like what we see, but realize it is unlikely to ever happen, at least officially from Volvo.

Volvo has almost no history of building pickup trucks, so this is just a wild idea, though we would love to see a commercial for it with Swedish farmer hauling his horse trailer alongside the beautiful Northern landscape.
