All-new Volvo XC90 digitally imagined as a sportier coupe like BMW X6 rival

The all-new Volvo XC90 has already been digitally rendered as a sportier Polestar version and even as a premium pickup truck.

The coupe like SUV market is clearly booming as in addition to the already proven BMW X6, Mercedes is working on MLC (ML Coupe) and even Porsche is reportedly planning a five-door Cayenne Coupe.

Talented Theophilus Chin decided to render a Volvo XC90 coupe SUV dubbed XC80 to rival the BMW X6, but in his words “unfortunately it looks anything but a coupe”.

Yes the roofline is not flowing down like on the X6 or upcoming MLC, but the overall look is clearly much sportier than on the current production model with a sportier front bumper, revised grille, new fenders, new tailgate, new raked rear window and a gently sloping roofline.
