All-New Volkswagen Beetle Revealed

All-new Volkswagen Beetle is longer, wider and lower than the one it replaces. The car certainly can’t be called a girl car as the previous one.

In UK, the new Beetle will be available to order from this summer, with first deliveries starting in early 2012. From the launch three petrol engines will be offered, including a 1.2 litre TSI 105 PS, a 1.4 litre TSI 160 PS and a 2.0 litre TSI 200 PS. For diesel fans there is a 1.6 litre 105 PS, which can deliver an impressive 65.7mpg.

The boot capacity has increased from 209 litres to 310 litres, compared to the previous model.

Three trim levels will be available – Beetle, Design and Sport – each will be offered with its own individual character and features. For full details see the press release below the images.
