All-New Vauxhall Astra GTC Revealed Ahead Of Goodwood Debut

Vauxhall’s new Astra GTC is now available to order, with prices starting from £18,495. World debut of the Astra GTC is next month at the Goodwood Festival.

The GTC, is the third body style in the Astra range, sharing only door handles and roof aerial with the Hatch and Sports Tourer.

“The GTC is a high-profile addition to the Astra range and one that’s sure to appeal to anyone who loves cars and driving,” said Duncan Aldred, Vauxhall’s Managing Director. “Better still, its chassis has been fine-tuned by Vauxhall Engineering Centre in the UK, reflecting the importance of our Millbrook-based operation, and also the fact that the UK will be the dominant market for GTC when it arrives in showrooms later this year.”

From the launch four engines are offered – one diesel and three petrols, with power ranging from 120 horsepower to 180 horsepower. A high performance VXR model will follow in 2012.
