All-new Jaguar XE to debut in London on September 8th

We have seen plenty of spy shots and also an official teaser, along with some technical details like the first aluminium monocoque product in the segment and a new Ingenium family of high-output, fuel-efficient four-cylinder two-litre petrol and diesel engines.

Jaguar has now revealed the all-new XE saloon will make its first debut in London on September 8th.

New details also reveal that the XE will come with the F-TYPE-derived front suspension, world-first All Surface Progress Control system, which ensures rear-wheel drive traction from standstill even in extreme conditions.

The integral link suspension is quite unique in this segment and delivers major benefits over conventional multi-link designs, by providing lateral and longitudinal stiffness.

The XE also becomes the first Jaguar to be equipped with the latest generation Electric Power Assisted Steering, that also enables a range of Active Safety and Driver Aid features.
