All-new Ford Mondeo Revealed

Ford has released more details and pictures of the all-new Mondeo, that will be available with the award-winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine. The rest of the engine range will be revealed closer to launch.

New Mondeo will be available as a five-door hatchback, wagon and four-door saloon. The four-door variant will be available as first-in-class petrol Hybrid Electric Vehicle, combining a specially-developed 2.0-litre petrol engine with a 35kW lithium-ion battery.

For the first time the Mondeo will be available with the all-wheel drive diesel powertrain and retractable panoramic roof. There are also segment-first adaptive full LED headlamps.

New Mondeo will also offer segment-first SYNC with MyFord Touch a voice-activated in-car connectivity system that delivers an eight-inch colour touchscreen and the ability to act as a WiFi hotspot for up to five devices.

Pubic debut is later this month at the Paris Motor Show.
