Hyundai and Kia prototypes are usually heavily covered until public debut, so it is a bit surprising seeing the next-generation Hyundai i20 with less camouflage testing in Southern Europe.
Last week Hyundai unveiled the new i10 ahead of its Frankfurt debut and the new i20 is expected to follow soon.
We can see some of the new design at the front and rear, which is not as round compared to the outgoing model. New i20 also looks bigger in size.
Engine range will include a range of petrol and turbo diesel options.
It is unlikely the new i20 will debut alongside the new i10 at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show, so we expect it to see later this year or in early 2014.
