Advantage Vantage at the Britcar 1000km

The #80 Aston Martin Vantage GT2 of Barwell Motorsport continues to dominate the Britcar 1000km endurance race at Silverstone. Having quickly taken the lead, the Aston has pounded the tarmac quickly and consistantly and has posted a fastest lap of an impressive 2:03.488. The weather continues to stay dry and reasonably warm but, as Ian Loggie whose Team Parker Porsche 997 GT3 Cup currently holds overall fifth explained, you have to be careful not to over-cook the new Dunlop slick tyres you’ll be exiting the pit lane with once you’ve been in for fuel and tyres.
