A Test of Man and Machine

Endurance racing is always a series test of both man and machine, but in the UK there is no more serious test – at least not in the world of circuit racing – than the annual Britcar 24 hour race at Silverstone.

And feeling the heat this evening is the BMW M3 E46 of team Rogue Motorsport / Forza 4, suffering a diff failure shortly after the four hour mark. On hearing of drive issues over the radio, the mechanics immediately lept on their spare rear axle, cannibalising it for parts as the stricken machine limped back to the garages.
