A list of some of the best air conditioned compact cars

Summer is a wonderful time of year; barbeques, trips to the beach and relaxing in the garden are all things people look forward to, however it is often forgotten how important air-conditioning can be when it comes to a road-trip. Almost every modern car has air conditioning, regardless of the manufacturer, model, or the class into which a car falls.

Here is a list of some of the cheapest cars available to be equipped with air-conditioning:

The Dacia Sandero

This is the cheapest car available with air-conditioning in this list and it has a basic price of £5,995. Its practicality, refinement, specification, and not to mention its economy are more than enough to recommend it.

Nissan Micra

With a wide variety of styling options and its impressive array of modern technology, including a great air-conditioning system, the new Micra is certainly a departure from the models that preceded it. It gives you a lot of car (in a small package) for a paltry £9,240 price tag.

The Volkswagen Move Up!

If proof were needed that a large car isn’t required to deliver a premium experience, the peculiarly named VW Move Up! is it. The Up! is a pleasant drive, rides well, and is nippy around town. What’s more, you get all this and air conditioning for just £9,670.

Fiat Panda

Another little, yet deceptively spacious city car is the Panda. It gives you practicality in spades, along with all the cool provided by the air-conditioning. The Fiat Panda starts from £12,095, which is a little more expensive than the other cars but it is well worth including in this list.

Air-conditioning will help make driving more comfortable and it is for this reason that many people consider air-conditioning to be a vital addition to any car. Imagine being stuck in a traffic jam on a hot summer day, the air conditioning can provide that much needed refreshing breeze to stop you over-heating. It is also beneficial if you don’t want to have the windows down but need some cold air to keep you cool.
