518bhp Audi A3 clubsport quattro concept makes its video debut

Audi has released couple of promo videos of the A3 clubsport quattro concept which debuts this week in Austria at Wörthersee.

The hot A3 clubsport quattro is based on the S3 and powered by a 518bhp 2.5-litre 5-cylinder TFSI from the RS Q3, where it produces a more modest 305bhp. The torque is up from 420 Nm to 600 Nm.

Such increase in power is possible thanks to a new larger turbocharger and a different intercooler.

The highly modified 2.5-litre TFSI is linked to a seven-speed S tronic gearbox equipped with launch control, sending power to quattro all-wheel drive.

Overall weight is 1,577kg and the concept needs just 3.6 seconds to accelerate from 0-62mph, while the top speed is 192.6 mph (310 km/h).

Don’t expect to see a production version with that much power, but the concept is likely previewing an upcoming RS3 with 400+bhp.
