2016 Bentley SUV will be priced above £130,000

Bentley’s SUV is taking shape with more details arriving. The unnamed SUV will go into production in 2016 with a range of big displacement engines, including a current V8 and V12 engines with over 600bhp, along with a new plug-in hybrid option that will follow later in 2017.

Recently at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Bentley boss Wolfgang Dürheimer told Autocar, the new high-performance luxury SUV will be priced above the £130k mark – making it more expensive than the top of the range SUVs from the likes of Land Rover, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Porsche.

The top of the range Bentley SUV is expected to stay cheaper than the Mulsanne saloon, which starts at £228,200.

In addition to packing over 600bhp, the Bentley SUV is also expected to have a top speed over 200mph, along with all the possible luxury and entertainment options one can wish for in a big SUV.
