Alpina has revealed the 2016 B5 Bi-Turbo as a saloon and estate variant.
Based on the 5-Series and basically an alternative the M%, the Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo features a revised 4.4-litre V8 biturbo engine producing 600 horsepower and 591 lb-ft of torque, taking the car from 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds on to a top speed of 203mph (328 km/h).
Other highlights include a sports suspension that offers electronically adjustable dampers and active roll stabilization, a limited slip differential, Merino leather upholstery for the seats, and piano black interior trim.
A lightweight titanium exhaust system by Akrapovic is optional, enabling owners to cut 17 kg compared to the standard system. High-performance fixed-calliper brake system is also part of the deal.
Visually the model is distinguished with new bumpers, exhaust tips and also familiar Alpina wheels.
In Europe, the 2016 B5 Bi-Turbo starts at €108,600 for the saloon and €111,900 for the Touring model.
