2015 Volvo V60 Cross Country revealed

A more rugged and high-riding Volvo V60 Cross Country has been revealed ahead of Los Angeles Auto Show debut with UK order books to pen in the first quarter of 2015 and first deliveries expected in June.

Compared to the standard model, the V60 Cross Country ride height has been raised by 65mm. Other notable updates include lower body cladding, bumper extenders, side scuff plates, front and rear skid plates, exhaust outlets integrated into the rear bumper, as well as high-profile tyres.

In UK the V60 Cross Country will be offered exclusively with diesel engines, the 161bhp D3 and 181bhp D4 models use a 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit and are front-wheel drive only, while the more powerful 187bhp five-cylinder D4 comes with standard four-wheel drive.
