2015 Smart ForFour spied for the first time

Here we have the very first spy shots of a new Smart ForFour.

The test group of ForFour prototypes was caught testing in Germany with an expected debut soon, together with the new smart ForTwo, which we saw back in October.

The new smart ForFour is based on the same platform as the recently unveiled new Renault Twingo.

The shape of the new ForFour is quite similar to the new Twingo, showing very short overhang, but as you can see the front and rear are unique to each model.

The red Smart ForFour prototype pictured in the gallery shows a huge panorama glass roof.

Just as the new Twingo, the engine will be at the rear, with power sent to the rear wheels.
