2015 Renault Koleos chassis testing mule caught in the Alps

Next-generation Renault chassis testing mule based on a higher and wider Renault Scenic platform has been caught in the Alps.

The prototype is a very early stage mule and the final production car’s design and overall looks is very hard to predict.

The new model will reportedly follow similar design as the R-Space Concept, which was shown in 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show.

New Koleos will grow in size and will be a mixture between a crossover and MPV.

The current facelifted Koleos is not available in UK as it was withdrawn from the market in August 2010, due to poor sales of under 2600 units.

Public debut is most likely in late 2014 or in early 2015.
