2015 Porsche 911 Facelift starts testing on the Nürburgring

We have seen the Porsche 911 (991.2) facelift testing for some time now from Southern Europe to snowy Sweden. The real test for the 911 is of course race track and here are our first pictures of the 911 facelift testing on the Nürburgring.

The prototype pictured here looks to be 911 Carrera S with familiar exhaust setup. In the last couple of months we have already seen prototypes for the Cabriolet, Turbo and even a Carrera GTS.

Overall changes are quite small and we can see new air intakes in the front bumper, revised daytime running lights, new intakes at the sides of the bumper, as well as revised rear bumper and taillight graphics.

All engines are expected to be upgraded to produce more power and torque. It is also possible that the recently announced new 4 cylinder boxer engine for Boxster/Cayman could make it into the 911.
