2015 Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Coupe spied for the first time

The upcoming Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe has been spied a couple of times this year and the concept was unveiled earlier this month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Here we have the very first pictures of the AMG version, which was caught testing in Southern Europe.

The S 63 AMG Coupe prototype shows a lower front bumper with different air intakes, new AMG wheels, sporty brakes and typical AMG double exhausts on each side.

Just as the saloon, the S 63 AMG coupe will use a 585bhp twin-turbo V8 5.5-litre petrol engine with 900 Nm of torque linked to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT sports transmission offering three modes: “C” (Controlled Efficiency), “S” (Sport) and “M” (Manual).

The saloon when equipped with all-wheel drive 4MATIC does 0-62 mph in just 4 seconds. We wouldn’t be surprised if for the coupe it drops under 4 seconds.
