2015 Mercedes-Benz MLC prototype spied

Last month Mercedes-Benz unveiled the Concept Coupe SUV, previewing a rival to the BMW X6.

The production model is most likely called MLC and here we have our first spy shots, showing a heavily camouflaged prototype testing in Germany.

Despite all the camouflage we can see it stays true to the concept, revealing a wide grille, big air intakes, side skirts and little of the taillights.

The second generation BMW X6 has been in development for some time and is expected to arrive few months before the MLC.

Based on the M-Class, the MLC is expected to use top of the engines from the M-Class with the range topping AMG model going against the X6 M.

The production model is likely to debut in late 2014 with first deliveries in early 2015.
