2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake spied

When the Mercedes-Benz CLA entered production in early January, a talented Theophilus Chin created renderings of how the CLA Shooting Brake could look like.

Now almost a year later the first CLA Shooting Brake prototype has been caught.

Despite the camouflage we can still see the sloping roofline and part of the tailgate with an integrated rear spoiler.

The CLA Shooting Brake is expected to come with the same engines as the standard four-door model.

Diesel units expected include:
-109bhp 1.5-litre diesel
-136bhp 1.8-litre diesel
-170bhp 2.1-litre diesel

Petrol range is likely to include:
122bhp and 156bhp 1.6-litre petrol
211bhp 2.0-litre petrol

A range topping CLA 45 AMG Shooting Brake with a 360bhp 2.0-litre turbo is also very likely to follow.

The pictures were taken from a long distance and are not very clear, but we expect to have new clearer close up shots soon.
