2015 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT spied up close in Scandinavia

End of November we showed you the new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT less disguised from a long distance and the pictures were not very clear.

Now we have fresh shots from the snowy Sweden showing the new AMG model up close in a black and white camouflage.

We get a good overview of the proportions, like the long bonnet, graphic of the rear lights and small spoiler at the rear.

The front is still heavily disguised, hiding very well the bumper, grille and headlights.

Internally known as c190, it will be called very likely AMG GT or SLC.

Unlike the outgoing SLS AMG, the new model will have traditional doors not gullwing doors, with power coming most likely from a 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 and/or 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 linked to seven-speed SPEEDSHIFT dual-clutch gearbox.

Top of the range Black Series is also expected to follow later with around 600bhp.

All-wheel drive is also expected in addition to a rear-wheel drive model as the prototype has been seen testing together with the Nissan GT-R.

Public debut is expected for the second half of 2014. Convertible is also most likely planned, though we still haven’t seen any prototypes yet.
