2015 Lexus RC F spied on the Nürburgring

Following yesterday’s first spy shots of the new Lexus IS-F Coupe, that will be called RC F, we are bringing you new images and details showing the hot coupe testing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Details are limited, but this new Lexus coupe borrows design cues from the LF-LC concept, LFA supercar and the new IS revealing us a four-tailpipe exhaust system from the IS-F, spindle grille, large air intakes, air intake in the bonnet, air intakes behind front wheels and an active rear spoiler.

The RC-F trademark was recently filed by Toyota in the United States and Europe hinting at a new model that is most likely the car pictured here.

In addition to the high performance RC F a standard RC is also likely planned with a hybridized 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine and a 3.5-litre V6. Possible debut is already this autumn at the Tokyo Motor Show.

The hot RC F pictured here is expected to use a 5.0-litre V8 with over 450bhp, while the public debut is very likely in early 2014 at the Detroit Motor Show.
