2015 Lexus IS-F Coupe spied for the first time

Lexus has started public testing a new sports car based on the latest IS platform. Most likely called IS-F Coupe, the prototype reveals IS-F exhausts, wide wheelcases, small air intake in the bonnet, air intakes behind the front wheels and a small spoiler on the boot. Under the bonnet is reportedly an updated V8 from the IS-F.

We also get to see little of the interior, which looks to carry over from the new IS.

This new Lexus coupe is very likely a production version of the hot LF-LC concept, that made its debut last year at the Detroit Auto Show and has later been shown at various shows around the world.

It is not known yet will Lexus use a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 or a smaller turbocharged unit, just as the BMW is doing with the new M3 and M4.
