2015 Land Rover Freelander 3 spied testing at the Nürburgring

The next generation Land Rover Freelander has been spied again, this time testing for the first time at the Nürburgring race track.

The car still wears the same camouflage as we saw on prototypes last winter in England and Scandinavia.

As you can see the new prototype is bigger than the outgoing model, sharing some of the parts with the Evoque and new Range Rover Sport.

New Freelander 3 rides on a longer wheelbased Evoque platform, a optional third row seat is rumoured, meaning it would be able to seat 7 people.

The new Freelander 3 is expected to arrive sometimes end of next year and the final design will be obviously inspired by the Evoque started design.
