2015 Land Rover Freelander 3 Prototype Spied For the First Time

Land Rover has started to test the next-generation Freelander 3, that rides on a longer wheelbased Evoque platform. The test mule also has a modified front and a strange fuel filler cap.

The new Freelander 3 will grow in size to better sit between the Evoque and new Range Rover.

The third generation Freelander is expected to follow the same design language as the Evoque. It will ride on the same LR-MS platform, but will be obviously be longer and also wider. It is rumoured to also offer optional third row seat, meaning it would be able to seat 7 people.

As the first test mules have just hit the roads, we don’t expect the official debut before the end of 2014. Stay tuned for new pictures and more details!
