2015 Kia Sorento spied near the Arctic Circle

The new Kia Sorento for 2015 is taking shape and here we have our first spy shots from the freezing Sweden where automakers are putting future cars into test at extreme road and weather conditions.

Two prototypes were caught at the petrol station with heavily disguised front and rear. We do get to see little of the rear light graphic and it also looks like the third generation Sorento is growing in size. The camouflage is very confusing, but it does look longer, meaning it could have a longer wheelbase or just longer/bigger at the rear to accommodate the third row seat a little better.

The front does reveal little of the Kia’s trademark “tiger nose” grille and parts of the new bumper, but it is hard to see the real changes.

Engine range is expected to carry over with some changes to fuel economy and power. In addition to diesel and petrol units a hybrid model is also rumoured. Other changes we can expect include an updated interior with new tech and also an updated suspension.

    I love the 2011 Sorento we have but wish they would send the diesel version to the US–I’d buy one in a New York Minute!!!
