2015 Kia Sorento renderings based on spy shots

The next-generation Kia Sorento has been testing for for some time and is expected to debut in its home market in September, followed by a world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November.

Kia-World has publised new artist’s renderings based on different spy shots, showing a potential look for the new Sorento.

Next Sorento will reportedly ride on the same platform as the new Sedona, but it will be modified for an AWD option.

Compared to the outgoing model, the new Sorento renderings show an upright front fascia with a prominent grille, sweptback headlights, some plastic body cladding, a dual exhaust system and a rounded tailgate with an integrated spoiler.

In Europe the new Sorento is expected to use a 2.2-litre CRDI linked to either a manual or automatic gearbox.
