2015 Jaguar XJ Facelift spied for the first time on British roads

Jaguar has started testing the XJ facelift on British roads, showing a camouflaged front and rear.

The front looks a bit rounder, showing a new bumper with new air intakes, while the rear looks almost identical to the current model.

We can also expect minor updated to the suspension and interior.

As Jaguar just updated the engine range for the XJ for the 2013 model year, we expect it to carry over with minor changes.

Current engine range includes a new 335bhp 3.0-litre supercharged V6, 271bhp 3.0-litre V6 Diesel S and a 503bhp 5.0-litre supercharged V8. New eight-speed ZF transmission with Intelligent Stop-Start is standard.

It is possible that a diesel hybrid from the new Range Rover will make it into the XJ, but nothing is official at this point.

The revised Jaguar XJ is likely to debut in the second half of 2014.
