2015 Ford Mustang GT350 spied, could debut in April at the Chicago Auto Show

Ford unveiled the all-new Mustang in early December with an evolutionary design, new EcoBoost engine and an independent rear suspension. For Europeans the biggest news was that this is the first time Mustang will be offered here officially.

The currently officially unveiled top of the range model is the GT with a 420bhp 5.0-litre V8 engine, but that will soon change as a more powerful GT350 will soon follow with a rumoured debut in April at the New York Auto Show, just in time for the pony car’s 50th anniversary. If not in April then the debut could be later this year or even in early 2015 at the Detroit Auto Show.

The new model will reportedly replace the Shelby GT500 and will be called just GT350. Engine details are limited, but under the camouflaged bonnet is a naturally-aspirated V8 that gets more air thanks to a new air-scoop. The front bumper is also hiding some bigger changes, while at rear we can see quad exhaust pipes and an updated bumper.
