2015 Ford Mustang Convertible spied, plus interior with new details

Here we have the latest spy shots showing the next-generation Ford Mustang Convertible with the top down and top up.

The prototype is heavily disguised, but it looks like the windshield frame, side windows and the soft top are quite similar to the outgoing model.

In addition we get a quick look at the partly disguised interior of the Mustang Coupe, showing a new steering wheel, new controls, rear seat area and the side window line.

The next Mustang will make its debut in December and the engine range will reportedly include a new entry-level four-cylinder EcoBoost, 3.7-litre V6 and 5.0-litre V8. An independent rear suspension is also finally rumoured to be part of the solution.

The open top model is likely to debut next spring at the New York Auto Show.

The next Mustang is also officially destined for Europe with a likely market launch end of 2014.
