2015 Ford Focus RS development mule spied for the first time

What we have here are the first pictures of the next-generation Ford Focus RS, which was caught winter testing in Focus ST based development mule near the Arctic Circle in Sweden.

This is a similar move Ford did with the previous generation Focus RS, which also used modified ST models during the development.

The development mule has a new front end hiding most likely the new 2.3-litre EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which will be shared very likely with the next Ford Mustang.

The new engine could produce 350+bhp and the new Focus RS is expected to come exclusively as a five-door variant.

New Focus RS is expected to debut in late 2014 or in early 2015.
