2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat comes with two key fobs - red one unleashes 707 hp [video]

Dodge has unveiled new details about the all-new 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat, with its supercharged 6.2-litre HEMI Hellcat engine, that produces up to 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque.

707 horsepower makes the SRT Hellcat, the most powerful Challenger ever, most powerful Dodge V8 ever and also the most powerful muscle car ever.

The new 6.2-litre Supercharged Hellcat engine the first factory supercharged HEMI and it comes standard with two key fobs — red and black.

You sure don’t want to give the red key to your teenage son as this one locks the engine’s full potential, delivering full 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The black key is more suitable for less experienced drivers, reducing engine output to 500 horsepower. Still very impressive.

The engine is linked to a new TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission.

Other notable updates include an all-new interior inspired by the classic 1971 Challenger.

Performance specs will be announced closer to a market launch that is scheduled in U.S. for late 2014.
