2015 Citroen C1 caught for the first time on the road

Here we have the first photos of the next-generation Citroen C1 caught testing in Southern Europe, that some sources claim could also be the new Peugeot 107. After checking the license plate number we can confirm it is the next-generation C1 with a 1.0-litre petrol engine.

Compared to the outgoing model, the new C1 looks to have a longer wheelbase and while the exterior is nicely camouflaged we can see the new design will be a big improvement and much better.

The new C1 will share its platform with the new Peugeot 108 and Toyota Aygo.

The three-cylinder 1.0-litre petrol currently produces 67bhp and is expected to receive a small increase in power with lower CO2 emissions.

We expect the next-gen C1 to debut next year at the Paris Motor Show as a 2015 model.
