Audi A7 debuted in 2010 and now 4 years later it is time for a bigger facelift, before the all-new generation arrives in 2-4 years.
The updates are not very big and it would take a trained eye to spot the differences in traffic. The facelifted model features an updated single-frame grille, revised bumpers, optional Matrix LED headlights, dynamic turn signals on the taillights and updated exhaust pipes.
Interior reveals new materials and updated colour palette.
The A7 engine range includes two petrol and three diesel units with power outputs ranging from 218hp to 333hp. The most notable is the “ultra” version with 218hp 3.0-litre V6 and front-wheel drive, returning an outstanding 60.1mpg.
The range topping S7 uses a 450hp 4.0-litre TFSI with innovative COD (cylinder on demand) technology.
As with the outgoing model a more powerful RS 7 will follow soon.
UK pricing will be confirmed closer to market launch which is scheduled for the last quarter of 2014.
