2014 Toyota Land Cruiser facelift revealed

Toyota has unveiled the updated 2014 model year Land Cruiser with new interior and exterior styling, along with improvements to handling and 3.0 litre diesel engine.

Both three and five-door models are part of the range, featuring new front with a deeper front bumper, heritage-inspired grille and new light clusters. At the rear are revised tail lights. There are also new alloy wheel designs and exterior colour choices.

Interior updates include a new control panel for on and off-road driving systems, full colour TFT multi-information display screen and Optitron meters. Second and third row seats are also revised for easier access.

Standard suspension and Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System are updated for improved handling and ride comfort, while safety features include new Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

The 188bhp 3.0-litre turbo diesel engine is updated to meet Euro 5+ emissions standards and is linked to a five-speed automatic transmission.

UK pricing and final specs will be announced later in the year, prior to the model’s introduction in early 2014.
