Earlier this summer we showed you pictures of the new Smart ForFour chassis mule from Germany. This new platform will be shared by Renault and Mercedes/Smart for their new small city cars.
Today we are bringing you spy shots of the shortened version of this chassis, that will be used for the next-generation Smart ForTwo and very likely for a new small city car by Renault, that will sit below the 4 seat Twingo.
The chassis test mule is based on a shorter Twingo platform, we expect to see full body prototypes in the near future.
New Smart ForTwo will be available with a range of petrol and diesel engines and an EV as well.
