Porsche Macan Spied Winter Testing at the Arctic Circle

Here we have the latest pictures of the upcoming Porsche Macan testing near the Arctic Circle. This is the first winter testing season for the Macan, which will go into production end of this year.

Based on the Audi Q5 platform, the Macan features a similar styling as the bigger Cayenne with a sloping roofline and tailgate-mounted spoiler.

The Macan will be offered with a wide range of petrol and diesel units. Top of the range Macan Turbo is expected to use a twin-turbo V6 with 370bhp. A hybrid variant based on the 2.0-litre four cylinder found in the Q5 will be offered as well.

Porsche has big plans with the Macan as they expect to sell 75,000 units in its first year(2014). In addition to the 5-door model, a sportier 3-door version of the Macan is planned as well.
