Porsche Macan has been spotted testing on the Nürburgring in heavy rain showing us clearly its sloping roofline, tailgate mounted spoiler, a four-tailpipe exhaust system and overal design that is influenced by its bigger brother, the Cayenne.
The Macan shares its platform with the Audi Q5 and will be offered witha wide range of petrol and diesel engines. Petrol options are rumored to include a turbocharged 220bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder, a naturally-aspirated 295bhp 3.6-litre V6 and range topping twin-turbo V6 that packs 370bhp. For diesel fans we expect to see a 190bhp 2.0-litre TDI and a 250bhp 3.0-litre V6 TDI. A hybrid variant similar to the one found on the Audi Q5 Hybrid is also coming.
The Macan production will start in late 2013.
