2014 Nissan Qashqai spied with new details in Southern Europe

Here we have the new spy shots showing the second generation Nissan Qashqai with new details testing in Southern Europe.

The new prototype is differently disguised than the previous one that was captured testing in UK.

These new pictures show more of the front with a less disguised grille and headlights with the daytime-running-lights.

The prototype also reveals a tailgate-mounted spoiler and overall looks is more curvier compared the current model.

Engine options from launch will likely include a 1.6-litre diesel and a supercharged 1.2-litre petrol. A plug-in hybrid variant is also expected.

The new Qashqai production is rumoured to start at Nissan’s plant in Sunderland in December 2013, meaning the world debut is most likely already in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
