2014 McLaren 12C Spider facelift spied with minor changes

McLaren is preparing a minor update for the 12C Spider, which was caught testing at the Nürburgring with a covered front end.

The changes will be quite small and include updates to the headlights and front bumper. As you can see rest of the car is not covered, meaning there won’t be any other changes most likely.

McLaren has already confirmed the twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8 will get an increase in power for the 2014 model year. The current 2013 MY has 625 horsepower and the updated model is likely to have around 650 horsepower.

Both the 12C Spider and coupe will be shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
