2014 Jaguar F-Type Coupe spied for the first time

The Jaguar F-Type Roadster made its debut last year at the Paris Motor Show and is already on the market with prices starting from £58,500.

The coupe version is soon to follow and here we have our first spy shots showing the F-Type coupe testing at the Nürburgring.

The prototype has very little disguise, showing clearly the new shape of the roof, which flows beautifully into the rear.

Engine options will carryover from the roadster, meaning the range will start with a 335bhp supercharged 3.0-litre V6, followed by the same engine producing 375bhp in the S trim and finally top of the range model will use the 488bhp supercharged 5.0-litre V8.

A new turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with around 240bhp is also rumoured.

There are also reports about a potential 911 Turbo killer with around 700 horsepower.

World debut is most likely in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
