2014 Hyundai Genesis saloon - first official renderings

All-new Hyundai Genesis saloon will be launched in its home market later this year and other major markets in 2014. It is still not known will Europe get the new Genesis, but chances are quite big.

The new Genesis saloon features upgraded chassis and interior. New Genesis saloon is also the first Hyundai to feature the new ‘Fluidic Sculpture 2.0’ exterior design language. The design is evolutionary and we get to see the new singular hexagonal grille, while the overall look is more elegant.

Hyundai has already revealed the new Genesis will be offered with optional HTRAC AWD system, which is one of the hints the new model is designed for European customers in mind.

Some of the tech and safety features part of the new Genesis saloon include advanced seatbelt functions such as Emergency Fastening Device system (EFD), Pre-Safe seatbelt, Advanced Traction Cornering Control (ATCC) and Rack-mounted Motor Driven Electric Power Steering (R-MDPS).
